.-MASSIMODECARLO presents Yucaipa, an exhibition of new works by Aaron Garber Maikovska (b. 1978, Washington, D.C.). This is the Los Angeles-based artists second solo exhibition with the gallery and his first one in Milan.
Aaron Garber-Maikovskas oeuvre is intrinsically connected to the body, its experiences, its constraints and expressions possibilities and its immanence as a premise to the affirmation of the act of painting. Somatic is the artists preferred descriptor in this instance, with Garber-Maikovskas practice situated in an interstice between motion, performance, language, and painting. Using his homemade oil bars, the artist is able to articulate a specificity of color and light and layer and screen to embody his visual language.

Homologation cars are a rare breed indeed, and it doesn’t get much rarer than this 2005 Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM AMG that’s now heading to the auction block.
Under strict United States rules, the buyer must purchase this car knowing full-well that it can only be used as a “show or display” piece, accumulating just 2,500 miles per year. It must also be made available for inspection by NHTSA until the vehicle is 25 years old, so that it can be recorded and checked under “show and display” rules.
However, those that do get to drive it on the rarity will experience a true one-of-a-kind racing car for the road. This model is one of 100 coupes made (there were also 80 convertibles), and was built to celebrate Bernd Schneider’s Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters championship win in 2003. It is a car that was made as close to a race car as a road-going machine could get, sporting a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 producing 582 HP that was mated to a Mercedes-Benz SpeedSh

Jerry Seinfeld is a well-known car fanatic and a lover of all things Porsche, and now one of his previously-owned prized possessions a very special 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is up for sale with Bonhams.
Following his $22,244,500 USD auction sale at Gooding Amelia that took place way back in March 2016, the multifaceted comedian now sees a 911 GT3 RS he once owned up for sale yet again. This 2016 model was originally purchased and delivered to the Seinfeld collection of cars with optional extras totaling over $250,000 USD, making for an official fresh from the showroom price of $449,890 USD.
Developed by Seinfeld under Porsche’s “Special Wishes” program, the 911 sports a paint-to-sample “Liquid Chrome Blue Metallic” paint job (taking after the Porsche 918 Spyder), as well as an axle lift system, carbon-ceramic brakes, the sport chrono pack, LED lighting, navigation, and a larger 23-gallon fuel tank.
